Being on the farm has presented ample time for wildflower, insect and bird hunting.  Tessa and I headed out to do some work with the sheep, and when we were all wrapped up for the day, we ducked into the bush to see what we could find.  I am so grateful that she and I share the same interest for all things nature.

Walking in the bush, is a prickly, and sometimes painful experience.  The lure of nature however draws me in to seek and find the splendid displays of colour, a beetle, a spider, a bee loaded with pollen, a flock of wild budgies (seen this morning!  Such an amazing thing to see them in the wild undisturbed…uncaged).

There is something so calm and enjoyable about bush walking.
