Day 260: Searching for Autumn

Life Through a Lens

I decided to take the long way home from dropping Bradley off at school this morning in the hopes that the trees were at least a little bit orange. I didn’t anticipate how ridiculously muddy the bridle path would be though and I was thoroughly disappointed to only see the tiniest bit of colour coming through on the leaves. However, I snapped away regardless and the journey wasn’t a wasted one.

I love the walk around the back of my house (when it’s less muddy though… or I’m wearing more appropriate footwear) and it has been the focus of plenty of blogs but it’s nice to see it changing with each season. The weather is lovely today, but was quite moody this morning which I loved to be able to capture in today’s shots.

All in all though, I’m surprised at how green everything still is.
