Tonight the Northern Lights were out here in Alaska.  From my Facebook feed, it sounded as though they were out all over the state. And Alaska is a big place.

So I got my camera and went to the park behind our house and tried my hand at Aurora Photography.  It was my first time.  It took a bit of getting used to.  Focusing in the dark was tough.  Waiting for cars to move around with their headlights was tough.  Finally, I got some passable shots.
